We are happy to inform you that Staged Interior is continuing to operate, but in a modified capacity. We are fully committed to providing you with our quality staging services despite the many challenges we are facing during this time of uncertainty.
While we are constantly assessing the ever-changing landscape of this virus’ impact on our community, we are also completely dedicated to staging your properties at the highest level of quality. To inform you of how we are adapting to the needs of our clients, whether Realtors, homeowners, builders, as well as our own team members, please read below.
Consultations:
Vacant Consultations are continuing as usual. When possible, we are creating staging quotes based on existing information, pictures, videos, and/or floor plans. Properties that require an in-person visit can be scheduled so the staging team leader will tour the property independently. He/she will take photos or videos on-site and call or email to finalize the staging plan.
Occupied Consultations will still be scheduled, but will approached differently. We are conducting REMOTE occupied consultations only. We are using ZOOM and its recording features. We will schedule a time with the clients or Realtors for a ZOOM session, and we will develop a comprehensive report from the session. The discussion regarding a staging plan can be done over the phone or through email afterward.
Stagings and Destagings:
For both vacant stagings and destagings, we ask that the homeowners, Realtors, or builders vacate the property for the duration of the staging or destaging. Our teams have been provided with gloves and masks, soap for disciplined hand washing and have instructions to wipe down the shared surfaces in the home before leaving.
In addition, we ask that there be no other trades or third parties on-site during our staging or destaging and that no one that has entered the property has been sick, been around anyone that has been sick, or travelled to an area of high infection. This is critical. If this request is not honored, our team will leave the premises to ensure social distancing. Please understand that we are concerned not only for the health of our team members but for all other parties entering the property as well. We have currently put a moratorium on occupied staging projects.
Home Base:
Meanwhile, back at our warehouse, we are doing everything in our power to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and germ eradication. Our team members are cleaning and disinfecting all shared surfaces in our warehouse and vehicles. They have instructions to wash hands upon entering and leaving the warehouse. We are practicing social distancing amongst ourselves and implementing teleconferencing for gatherings of 10 or more.
While these times are strange to say the least, we have spoken to many of you and watched the changes in the real estate market alongside you. We believe that while this has disrupted some of the flow of the spring market, it has not brought it down. We are still witnessing quick sales by eager buyers.
Staging has never been MORE important than right now. Many home buyers are confined to their residences, so they are “online shopping”, and choosing very carefully which properties to visit. There is no doubt that staged homes show best to the online market. While open houses may be on hold right now, it is likely comforting for buyers to know they can usually schedule a private showing of a home that they saw and fell in love with online.
NOW is a GREAT time to STAGE and Staged Interior is committed to maintaining the highest health standards while doing so.
