Is it true that “When the going gets tough, the tough get going”?
In the case of Trish and Young Kim of Staged Interior, they exemplified what was needed when the Covid-19 Pandemic put their leadership skills to the test. The rest of the staging industry in the Washington DC benefitted.
During the period of March 15 to October 15, 2020, their company stayed afloat, kept their team members together (and safe), and staged hundreds of houses.
Please look at the two photos below, one of a huge shipment of new furnishings and accessories, and one of two team members in an office.
Look carefully at the photo with the boxes. Notice ALL the shrink-wrapped furniture on all the shelves behind the boxes? Not only did Trish and Young help the furniture companies keep going by spending their corporate funds for new inventory, but they also paid their team to wrap and wrap and wrap! Everything that went out from Staged Interior was as clean as could be.
Take a look at the other photo, the one with two women wearing masks in an office. These two women stayed safe at work during the whole pandemic, serving Staged Interior’s clients. Please note also the complex calendar on the screen of the woman on the right. Those days are packed! The result? Trish and Young showed everyone in the Washington DC staging industry how it could be done safely and calmly. Truly an example of staging industry leadership!
