Occupied Colonial Home Staged in Alexandria, VA

We recently staged one of Pete Schlossberg’s listings — a single family colonial in Alexandria, VA. The homeowners decided they would occupy the home while it was on the market so after our initial consultation, they decluttered and packed their excess furniture. We were able to use a mixture of the homeowners’ furniture and accessories along with decor from our warehouse to fill in where needed. It is always fun staging occupied homes as it calls for a different level of creativity to mesh the homeowners’ style with our inventory and to appeal to the mainstream buyers. This home had great bones featuring a bright open floorplan, built-in shelves, 4 spacious bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, and two outdoor living spaces — endless opportunity to make it shine!

After the home sold, we received an awesome testimony from Pete Schlossberg, the listing agent selling this property. Pete is one of our most loyal agents we’ve worked with over the years — he’s been in real estate for many years and his experience speaks volumes. He knows how to prepare a home for the market, price it right, and he gets them sold in a short period, time and time again:

I’ve work with Staged Interior for a number of years and made their staging my “secret sauce” for getting homes sold at the highest price in the shortest amount of time. My clients are impressed by their attention to detail and customer service and are consistently surprised and pleased by the transformation of their homes. Our listings often sell during the first week or two and with multiple offers. Buyers are attracted by the outstanding photos attached to the listing. The photos get them in the door and the way they feel when they first walk in puts the home at the top of their list. Our listings look great and the competition often makes them look even better. Thank you Young, Trish and the team!

Thank you, Pete! It’s always a pleasure to work with you!
